Best Japanese Restaurant in College Station

Our experience at Azure was fantastic! The food was delicious, the service was excellent and very kind, and the portions were great. We went for dinner and ordered the Gyoza (not pictured, but the best i’ve ever had), the Azure Chicken (spicy sweet sauce), and the Hibachi Steak. The fried rice was amazing and they came with fresh miso soup. It is all 100% made fresh to order and comes out hot and delicious!

I will return to Azure any time I am in College Station! It was recommended by a couple here in town and I cannot be more thankful for it! It was just the owner/chef here but the service was gracious. I felt spoiled, I never even had to pour my own lovely jasmine tea.

This Japanese restaurant truly blew me away! Every dish—from the sushi boat to the spicy edamame and cucumber rolls—was prepared with great care and attention to detail. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and literally melted in my mouth. The sushi rolls came in a wide variety, each packed with flavor and texture. Even the simple edamame was stir-fried to perfection—so aromatic and appetizing! The drinks were also outstanding. The cocktails were light and refreshing, while the sake had a smooth and lasting finish. The ambiance was quiet and relaxing, and the service was warm and attentive. I also loved seeing the wall full of customer photos and kind messages—it’s clear that the staff truly connect with their guests and create a welcoming, heartfelt space. With delicious food, great drinks, and a cozy environment, this is the perfect spot to enjoy with family or friends. A solid five-star recommendation! 👍👍👍👍👍

The flavors that Sunny creates are outside the realm of what a typical sushi restaurant does. He is extremely talented. We’ve been patrons of his place for over 11 years. Have been exceptionally satisfied each and every time. The typical rolls that all sushi places offer taste better when he makes them like the Rainbow Roll. And the Hamachi Hammer Roll absolutely blew our minds.
